Our process is thorough, gentle, and completely free of sedatives. Every session includes:
Gentle Ultrasonic Scaling
Using advanced ultrasonic technology, we carefully remove hardened, built-up plaque and tartar from the teeth. Our precise techniques ensure a safe and comfortable cleaning experience, including the removal of tartar on the tooth surfaces, right up to the gumline, without causing distress to your dog.
When is a dog suitable for non-anesthetic cleaning?
Our service is a highly effective preventative maintenance tool, but we are not veterinarians, and this is not a substitute for veterinary dental care.
1.The Initial Assessment:
Before we begin cleaning, we conduct an assessment. This is where we explain the service and answer any questions you may have.
2.Ideal Candidates:
Dogs with visible tartar buildup that has not progressed below the gumline are ideal candidates for our sedation-free cleaning method. Dogs should also be comfortable being gently handled and able to remain calm and cooperative during the cleaning.
3.Ending of Appointment:
Tartar develops differently for all dogs. We usually will recommend a return visit in 3, 6, 9, or 12 months. We will also go over any tips you require for brushing your dog's teeth.
